Getting There

  • To visit the Great Sandhills, 12 miles east of Leader to Sceptre and take the grid road on the east side of Sceptre. Follow the road south 6 miles from Hwy 21 then follow the curve west for 1 mile before going south again for 6 miles. All season access and fires and camping are prohibited.
  • South Saskatchewan River winds through here
  • South of Kindersley via Hwy 21 (60 minutes)
  • West of Swift Current via Hwy 32 (2 hours 45 minutes)
